Yadkin River Halloween Paddle

Join the Rowan County Chapter of Three Rivers Land Trust on a FREE 5-mile paddle along the South Yadkin River.

When: Sunday, October 27th from 1:00 – 5:30 PM

Where: Meet at the Salisbury Pump Station (951 Hannah Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC 28144)

Put-in: Catch a shuttle from the Salisbury Pump Station to the Hwy 601 Bridge put-in (This parking area and boat ramp are located where Hwy 601 crosses the S. Yadkin River)

Take-out: Float 5 miles from Hwy 601 back to the Salisbury Pump Station

-Halloween attire encouraged! Prizes will be given out for the best costumes!

-Pack your own small cooler with snacks and beverages to keep with you in your boat.

-Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian

You will have the option to borrow a boat or bring your own. If you are bringing your own boat(s), plan to drop your boat(s) off at the 601 boat ramp at 12:30 PM. A Land Trust staff member will stay with your boat while you drive your vehicle to the Salisbury Pump Station to meet up with the rest of the group at 1:00 PM.

This paddle is moderately strenuous. Be prepared to paddle for 3+ hours if water levels are low.

We are limiting registration to only 30 participants. Register today before it’s too late.
