Insane Terrain 5K and 10K Trail Race

Trail Run Benefiting the Elkin Valley Trails Association. The EVTA 7th Annual Insane Terrain 5K and 10K trail races start at the Elkin Municipal Park and take advantage of new trails and bridges along the Big Elkin Creek, including the Elkin Creek MTB Course- with the elusive Possum Shot, Iron Falls, and Elkin Creek Loop trails!

Enjoy the beautiful scenery including waterfalls, “mountain” terrain, wildflowers and the fall colors. Our race is also the same morning as the annual Big Elkin BrewFest in Elkin.
