Donate to a Local Trail Group

Do you have a favorite trail? It is probably maintained by a non-profit and volunteers.

These groups often rely on donations to fund trail maintenance, conservation projects, and educational programs. Consider donating to show your appreciation for their work at creating safe and clean spaces for us to recreate in. Even a small contribution can make a significant difference. Check out organizations below.

Hit the Trails

Wether you are biking, hiking, paddling, rolling, or strolling we hope you celebrate!

Volunteer

Volunteering is a hands-on way to show your love for trails. In the Piedmont region, there are numerous opportunities to get involved. You can help with trail maintenance, cleanup events, or even lead guided hikes. Not only will you be contributing to the upkeep of our trails, but you’ll also meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts and gain a deeper appreciation for the hard work that goes into maintaining these natural treasures. Visit local trail group websites or volunteer platforms to find opportunities near you.

Tell Your Local Leaders

Advocacy is a powerful tool in preserving and expanding our trail systems. Take a few moments to let your local leaders know that you value trails and outdoor spaces. Here’s how you can do it:

Write a Letter or Email to Local Decision Makers: Clearly express why trails are important to you and your community.
