This classic trail at Hanging Rock State Park starts at the top edge of the main Visitor's Center parking area and climbs 1.3 miles to some incredible views of the other peaks in the park and the rolling valley below. The trail starts as a paved surface then switches to gravel, natural surface, and near the end to rocky uneven steps. The State Park rates this trail as moderate difficulty.

Exercise caution along this trail as it has many steep drop offs and can be very dangerous.
