COVID-19 Related Trail Closures & Updates
Last Updated 5/12/2020
Lucky for us most greenways and trails remain open in our region. It is important for us to get outside for our own health and well-being; however we must find the balance between using trails for our health and putting our lives and the lives of others at risk. Please respect the space of others and enjoy trails in a responsible and considerate manner.

COVID-19 Related Trail Updates
The Mountain is CLOSED due to overcrowding of the Summit area; however, the Yadkin River section, the Corridor Trail and Pilot Creek parking lots are open for hike-in, local traffic only. These parking lots are small and once they fill, consider these areas are closed.
There still remain many trails, greenways, and open spaces available for use. However, be aware that many localities are closing other recreational facilities such as playgrounds, bathrooms, and other places that could act as facilitators in the spread of COVID-19.
