Greenways and trails remain open in our region. It is important for us to get outside for our own health and well-being; however we must find the balance between using trails for our health and putting our lives and the lives of others at risk. Please respect the space of others and enjoy trails in a responsible and considerate manner.

Suggestions for Safely Enjoying Trails

  • Hike Local
  • Avoid Peak Hours
  • Stay 6ft Apart from other Trail Users
  • Wash your hands before you go and carry hand sanitizer
  • Do not use trails if you have symptoms of COVID-19
  • If a trailhead parking lot is crowded, don't get on the trail
  • Bring your own water and keep in mind that any public restrooms may be closed

Local Trails

There still remain many trails, greenways, and open spaces available for use. However, be aware that many localities are closing other recreational facilities such as playgrounds, bathrooms, and other places that could act as facilitators in the spread  of COVID-19.
